James Warner was born in Kent in England, UK on 29th June 1991. He has been living in Hong Kong since October 2013 where he started out working as a fully qualified English language teacher - working in tutoring centres and primary schools. He received his bachelor's degree in Journalism from University of Kent in Medway in 2012.
Since teaching, he has moved into the marketing and communications industry but says helping children has remained an important part of his life: "I think it's very important that I give what I can back to the world. Teaching English gave me a great opportunity to share skills and help to improve children's future prospects. Now that I am out of the teaching industry, I am very happy and extremely proud to have been given the chance to continue to make a difference to the lives of children who are not as fortunate as many of us. It is a privilege to be working with this wonderful organisation.
